The Challenge

Many calorie trackers and food diaries are bloated with social feeds, gamification, and intrusive notifications. Users needed a privacy-focused alternative with a minimalist design, offline functionality, and a simple logging experience that keeps data secure.

Our Solution

StartupSphare designed and built MealNote, a privacy-focused calorie tracker and food diary. It emphasizes a minimalist design and a two-tap logging experience without social feeds or streaks. Data is stored locally by default with optional end-to-end encrypted cloud sync. It features free barcode scanning, calorie and macro tracking, and integration to import existing data from MyFitnessPal.
